Thank You!

With your help we had a wonderful concert season!

Please stay tuned to our website and FB page for updates

Our Holiday concert is...

December 9th, 7:30 pm at Sandler Center for the Arts!

It doesn't matter if you played under the baton of Maestro Berg, Maestro Asercion or Maestro Brewington, you will always be a part of the Tidewater Winds Family. We encourage you to remain a part of our work and mission. On this page we will feature your stories, inform you of projects, and hopefully maintain your passion for performing and Tidewater Winds. As an alumni of the Winds you offer a unique history into a great organization. We do hope you will share your thoughts, memories, ideas, hopes and dreams with us. As we move forward into the future, we will not and cannot forget our past. Three great conductors, 35-years of music, and countless hours of applause!

Audience Testimonials

"This was one of the most rewarding concerts I've attended. We enjoyed the musical selections and the diversity of programming content. Maestro Brewington has a lovely way of including the audience and making it a unique experience for all".

-Margaret (Chesapeake)
"We love coming to the free concert series each summer and appreciate the creativity of each program topic. We've been attending for the past 7 years and simply love the music. We learn something new at every concert and respect the acknowledgement of our military at the end of each concert. It is so imortant to honr their sacrifice".

-John (Virginia Beach)

"With so much noise to distract us in society, it is a pleasure to enjoy a high-quality performance and family night out appropriate for all ages. We loved the concert and hope to see many more. Thanks to the sponsors and gratns that made this happen!"

-Eric (Norfolk)
"What a joy to celebrate the music and life of Ella Fitzgerald! Willet Hall was a wonerful location for this concert and we are so glad we came! The soloist was amazing and the Band did a fantastic job of bringing her to life! Come back to Portsmouth!"
